Yes! We offer walk-in vaccines and immunizations in Black Mountain, NC during regular pharmacy hours. Appointments are encouraged, especially for children, but not required. 

Most vaccines are covered by insurance plans, including Medicare and many commercial plans. Call us if you have questions about your specific coverage. 

Adults over 65 are generally recommended to receive annual flu, COVID-19, pneumococcal (pneumonia), shingles, and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccines. We follow CDC and ACIP recommendations for older adults. 

Yes. HealthRidge can administer flu vaccines to children ages 3 and older, COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 7 and older, and other vaccines by prescription for patients under 18. 

Most vaccine appointments take about 5–15 minutes. To help speed up the process, make an appointment, complete your consent form ahead of time, and bring it with you to your appointment.
